The Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP) is a cooperative effort among academic institutions and federal agencies to increase research productivity and reduce administrative costs through the elimination of the need to seek prior approval directly from sponsoring agencies for certain need categories such as equipment purchases, travel, no funds extensions, etc. The federal agencies participating in the FDP are: Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR), Army Research Office (ARO), Army Medical Research and Material Command (AMRMC), Department of Energy (DOE), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Science Foundation (NSF), Office of Naval Research (ONR), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), and Department of the Treasury. Most grants awarded by these agencies are subject to the FDP terms and conditions.
