Washington University’s preferred method of payment to domestic suppliers and miscellaneous payees is an electronic payment directly to the payee’s bank account via an ACH transaction. ACH payments are an effective way for the university to send payments with remittance information directly to a bank account. Recipients are automatically notified via email from the university when a payment has been made.
Payee’s wishing to receive payments electronically via ACH must complete the ACH Payment Agreement. Upon receipt of the completed agreement, updates will be made. An email will be sent informing the requester that the change has been completed.
